So I tried Blue Apron again, this time with a deeper dive, focusing on their recipes, meals and cost to see just how they stack up to the competition in the very crowded meal kit space. The meal-kit company stood out amongst the rest, mainly because the ingredients and the meals looked to be the most gourmet option - and even more shocking that they came from a box and from my own oven. However, despite all the prepping a tasting, I was hungry for more, and Blue Apron was quick to satisfy that craving. I rejoined online today, hoping to add some structure back into my life and start to work on the emotional eating habits. I've also lost weight through counting calories/macros in the past, but alas I'm at my highest weight ever. I went to meetings for about 6 months back in 2014 and lost about 30 pounds.
